January.... Already!

It's January! Already! So hard to believe.....

Hi - It's Mona here. Want to fill you in on a lot of things that are going on.

I just realized that more than a month had gone by since I did a blog post. Life gets crazy and times passes so quickly!

Since I last wrote, I was on the Pat Sloan podcast. That was so fun! She is wonderful to talk to and what a wonderful experience.

I created a mug pattern for Moda Bake Shop. It was published in December. Head over and check out the "Cup of Cheer" block.

I had taken several t-shirt quilt orders and a commission for a bookshelf quilt. All of these had to be finished in time for Christmas. I overbooked and ended up pulling an all-nighter right before Christmas. I'm trying to tell myself not to do that again, but you know how that goes! Let me know if you're interested in having me make a quilt for you!

A couple of patterns that I've written for AccuQuilt have been published. You can check out the GO! Cleopatra's Table Runner Pattern and the GO! Bear's Paw Quilt Pattern on the AccuQuilt site.

Then, during all of this, I decided I was going to break down and get a longarm! I have place an order for an APQS Millie - it's supposed to ship this coming week. I can't express how excited I am! I will be accepting quilts to be longarmed mid- to late February! Contact me if you're interested!

As a part of expanding my business and making sure I have what I need to please my customers, I have set up accounts with several fabric and batting companies. I will be posting excess items on my Etsy site.

The last thing I want to share is that I have a new business name - Bluegrass Stitches! I will soon start the transition from "Kentucky Whittaker Creations" over to "Bluegrass Stitches". I'm so excited!!!!
