Wow - it's been a long time!
Hi - it's Mona here and I wanted to talk about planning and scheduling.
I didn't realize it had been so long since I'd posted. Do you ever get so caught up in the day-to-day and then all of the sudden realize that months have passed by and you don't know where the time went? Well - that's what's happened here.
I had fully intended to keep you up on the 100 Days 100 Blocks progress. We're now in the 60's and I haven't shared any other information. (You can check out Instagram to see all of the pics.)
I have a review and giveaway that I had planned - and haven't gotten to it yet...
I participated in Moda's "Choose Your Own Adventure" Quilt Along this summer and still haven't finished.
I've written some blog posts for AccuQuilt but didn't share them here.
Things feel out of control. So - what do I do to make things better? I bought a planner. I chose this particular one because the pattern reminds me of Rifle Paper Company's beautiful fabric that they create for Cotton & Steel.
Yes, I've purchased planners previously. And, they've been thrown away without being used at all. I'm hoping this time will be different.
Each week, I want to spend time working on projects for upcoming craft markets, customer orders, and items for me and my family. Yet, every week, the time passes and I haven't gotten near as much done as I'd hoped.
So, I bought a planner. I'm going to allot time each day for different things - things that I want to make sure happen! Maybe seeing something written down on a piece of paper will hold me accountable?! I hope so.
What about you? Do you use a planner? Any helpful hints? Let me know!
Until next time - blessings & peace - and happy crafting!

Mona, Mona, Mona!!! I feel your pain. I'm a planner junkie. Buy them. Look at how pretty they are, and then I never use them, I think for fear of messing them up. I think we're on the same path. I have all these quilting activities, and they never make it to my blog. Maybe we should become each other's accountability partner, lol! I just got a new planner, as well, so here's to happy "planned" quilting and blogging!
