Have you ever tried reverse applique?
About a year ago, I ran across a post on Instagram where someone had used reverse applique on a quilt. I was intrigued, so I did a little research.
I ended up making this Kentucky pillow.
I really love the technique - instantly adding texture to your projects.
I used this same technique to create this Christmas Tree pillow.
The pillow cover doesn't have any raw seams and the back is an envelope closure. The fabric is Grunge Seeing Stars Metallic by Basic Grey.
