I'm Going to Be on a Podcast!

Hi everyone! It's Mona here and I have some exciting news to share!

I am going to be interviewed on a podcast! Pat Sloan, a wonderfully talented quilter, designer, author, teacher, and radio/podcast show producer and host, asked me to be on her show, American Patchwork & Quilting Podcast.

I am very honored to be asked to be on Pat's show. I'm so thrilled!

The show will air live at 4 p.m. eastern on Monday, December 17 - here. Or, after 6 p.m. eastern, you can listen to the interview here.

Check it out and let me know what you think!

Until next time - blessings & peace - and happy crafting!

  1. Hi Mona,
Greetings to you in KY from the great state of OK. I grew up in WV and miss the green of your part of the country. It's funny that I say that. I live in a bedroom community of Tulsa. We live in "Green Country." This part and lots of the eastern part of OK is called Green Country. It is very green compared to the middle and western section of the state. The farther west you go, the browner it becomes. Yet it is not green here compared to living much closer to the east coast. I love your quilts. I just had to nose around your website. I saw that you and your sister were making villages. I bought the pattern with the thought of making a quilt for each of my two "sisters." We are each widows and have become as close as sisters from what they tell me. I have no biological sisters, only brothers with whom I have no contact. They have literally saved my life. I found you through a tweet from Pat Sloan and her upcoming Podcast about you (I know it has already occurred). I saw a pic of a hashtag quilt in that ad and didn't find a hashtag quilt. I was hoping that I might see a link to a pattern or a tutorial. I just started follwing you on Bloglovin and also signed up for your newsletter - maybe overkill. Glad to meet you. Susan

    1. Hi Susan - so glad to meet you! I didn't really follow a "pattern" for the hashtag quilt. I did some research and then kind of did my own thing. I'm hoping to write up a tutorial in 2019. Thank you following and so glad you're here!!
