Classic & Vintage: Union Square Quilt Along with Fat Quarter Shop

 Hi Everyone! It's Mona here and I have something fun and exciting to share!


The Fat Quarter Shop is doing a series on classic & vintage quilts. This month, they are sharing the Union Square block pattern and I had the opportunity to sew along with them!

I am not usually drawn toward traditional fabrics, but I enjoyed the block design and the way everything turned out.


The block uses the Union Square Quilt Block pattern (free).  I used Kindred Spirits by Jill Shaulis for Windham Fabrics in my block. The block is a great skill builder and is good for new and experienced sewists. The instructions are easy to follow, too.
