End of Summer - At the Seashore Quilt-along with Moda Bake Shop

It's the end of the summer which means it's the end of the Moda Bake Shop summer quilt-along.

This summer, I had the honor and privilege of being one of the designers for the Moda Bake Shop "At the Seashore" quilt-along.

I designed the "Breezy Beachy Umbrella" - a fun block that uses string-piecing.

For the quilt-along, I used Anagram fabric and Grid fabric by Kimberly Kight of Ruby Star Society for a Moda Fabrics.

I also used Turquoise Grunge fabric from Moda for my sashing.

I quilted my quilt with a wave pantograph using my longarm machine. I thought it would be fitting since we were at the Seashore!

I love the way the quilt turned out. The colors are so vibrant. The wave quilting adds some wonderful texture! I am offering a deal to anyone who did the Moda Bake Shop sew-along and wants their quilt top quilted on a longarm - .0125 per square inch for an edge-to-edge design (choose a meander, waves, straight lines, or wavy lines).  Contact me for all the details! (email: ky.whittaker.creations at gmail dot com)

Finally, I'm hosting an Oliso Iron Giveway - make sure you head over and enter while there's still time (giveaway ends 8/30/19)

Thank you for reading along! Until next time - blessings & peace - and happy crafting!
