October Blog Hop - 2019 Monthly Color Challenge

Hi everyone! It's Mona here and today I get to share another block from a great sew-a-long!
Jen over at Patterns by Jen is having her second annual monthly color challenge. What is this? Jen shares a new block pattern every month with a color theme. 2019's theme is based on flowers. How fun!

The October You can get the October pattern and all the information on this sew-along at Patterns by Jen. The colors this month are based on the rose (red). I used some red grunge fabric and some red plaid fabric by Sweetwater.

The block uses HST's (half-square triangles) and fabric strips. It went together really quickly!

If you make this block, be sure to post a picture on Instagram and tag me (@mona.phelps). Also, make sure you use #2019MonthlyColorChallenge so that everyone will see it - and you can get inspiration from there as well!
