For years now, my sister, Lisa, and I have gone shopping on Black Friday. When my kids were younger, it was often to score the big deal of the day. As they've gotten older, I can get most of their gifts online and I don't have to wait in huge lines. That means that Lisa and I get to focus on hanging out with each other and having fun.
This year, we're doing things a little different - we're going to check out some quilt shops! I'm sure we'll end up at Target and a few other traditional Black Friday shopping destinations, but this year, the focus is on fabric.
