As I mentioned in last month's blog post, I have set up my online retail shop. Business has been wonderful - thank you for supporting my small business - I truly appreciate it!
As I am expanding my site, I've been thinking about what my customers might like to see versus what I'd like to sell. The online quilting industry is rather saturated. I'm not going to try to compete with some of the biggies out there - my goal is to help provide for my family while offering items that my customers might enjoy.
Disclosure: Bear in mind that some of the links in this post are affiliate links and if you go through them to make a purchase I will earn a commission. Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.
I have already added some pre-cut fabrics to the site. I love pre-cuts. You can get a wide variety of prints all at once and they are so useful for quilts, mask making, hoarding, and so much more!
I will soon be adding wide-back fabric to the site. I use it quite often in the t-shirt quilt making part of my business. I think that wide-backs are usually a great deal and can be used for more than just backs of quilts.
I recently became aware of the Nebula Block of the Month program by Jaybird Quilts using Tula Pink fabrics.
I am considering offering the Tula Pink Nebula Block of the Month quilt. I think the quilt is beauitufl. And, there are no y-seams. It's all machine pieced, which is right up my alley!! This BOM starts in January, but I need to know by mid-July if I have enough participants to order the kits. This quilt is GORGEOUS (see above). Please use the Tula Pink Nebula Block of the Month form if you'd like to get all the details and sign up!
Here's another fun item:
If you're a Tula Pink fan, you might be interested in this quilting subscription box by Quilty Box - Coming in July! Never before seen...a Tula Pink fabric that is a new take on an old favorite will be included in July's Classic Quilty Box and available exclusively to subscribers! Reserve your box today. (You can purchase one box or subscribe for a whole year!)
I wanted to say thank you to everyone who ordered one (or more) of the Creative Grids Mask Templates. I have almost sold out!
For those that ordered at the very beginning - I apologize for the delay in getting them to you. My shipment was delayed. However, everything has now been shipped!
Thank you also, for those who have ordered elastic. I have plenty on my site and more to come. So, if you need elastic for making masks or for other crafty pursuits, I would appreciate you shopping through my site.
Please let me know if there's anything in particular you'd like to see on my retail site! I will see what I can do.
Finally, but most important, I wanted to let you know that I am participating in an auction for anti-racism over on Instagram. This auction goes through Friday. I would love it if you would check it out!
Thank you for supporting my small business.
